This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional to work across international contracts, MSPs, RPOs, contingent workforce solutions, compliance, data privacy, disputes, and legal innovation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Global Accounts, MSP and RPO teams, you will provide practical, commercially focused legal advice while helping the business navigate contractual, regulatory, and operational challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Be Doing ⚖️📋

• Commercial Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on high-value global commercial agreements, including recruitment, employer of record, MSP, RPO, and managed service contracts.
• Contract Lifecycle Management: Support the implementation, administration, amendment, renewal, extension, and termination of commercial agreements and associated contractual documentation.
• Risk Management: Assess, quantify, and manage commercial and legal risks while ensuring alignment with internal governance procedures and approval frameworks.
• Legal Advisory: Provide practical legal guidance on contractual interpretation, disputes, indemnities, insurance matters, claims, breaches, and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Global Compliance: Research and advise on international legal requirements affecting workforce solutions, employment services, contractual obligations, insurance, and operational compliance.
• Data Protection & Privacy: Support stakeholders on information governance, privacy compliance, and contractual data protection obligations relating to clients, candidates, and contingent workers.
• Solutions Development: Design compliant engagement models and contractual structures for new services, territories, and international workforce solutions programmes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with legal, commercial, operations, finance, HR, IT, compliance, and leadership teams to support business objectives globally.
• MSP & RPO Governance: Support programme governance activity, supplier onboarding, audit requirements, compliance reviews, and contract implementation across strategic client programmes.
• Legal Innovation & AI: Contribute to legal technology initiatives and AI adoption, helping develop use cases and improve efficiency across the legal function.
• Knowledge Sharing: Develop legal playbooks, templates, guidance materials, and training programmes to drive consistency, efficiency, and best practice across the organisation.

What We're Looking For 🔍⚖️

• Qualified Legal Professional: Qualified solicitor, legal counsel, or equivalent legal practitioner within the UK or another recognised jurisdiction.
• Commercial Contracts Expertise: Proven experience negotiating, drafting, and advising on commercial agreements while balancing legal and business priorities.
• In-House Experience: Minimum 36 months of relevant in-house legal experience, ideally within recruitment, staffing, workforce solutions, professional services, or another international commercial environment.
• Strong Communicator: Able to build trusted stakeholder relationships and explain complex legal concepts in a practical and commercially focused manner.
• Commercial Mindset: Confident in providing risk-based recommendations that support business growth while maintaining legal compliance.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong legal technical capability combined with excellent judgement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable & Organised: Comfortable managing a varied workload, prioritising competing deadlines, and operating effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
• Technology-Focused: Experience using legal technology and AI tools, or a strong interest in developing capability within this area.
• Collaborative Professional: Passionate about knowledge sharing, training delivery, and working effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
