Our story so far
In 1978, Northenden Engineering Services was established by co-founders, Geoff Lloyd and Bryan Sullivan.
The company was known as NES International, NES Overseas and often simply "NES" before becoming NES Global Talent as part of a re-branding exercise in 2011.

Americas
As part of our company-wide Global Relay Challenge, the Americas teams were challenged to walk 10 million steps - the equivalent of walking from our Houston office to our Altrincham office!
Colleagues across the region - from Trinidad and Tobago to Bonnyville and Orlando - demonstrated incredible hard work and dedication to complete this challenge together.
Throughout the challenge, the Americas teams were raising vital funds and awareness for the United Way charity, helping them to continue their support of education, mental health, and employment for the betterment of all communities.
The team's phenomenal effort helped raise $52,500 for this great cause.
Europe
The NES Fircroft Europe teams were tasked with walking 15 million steps in just one week in June 2023 and they did an incredible job achieving it!
Offices across the region organised a variety of team walks and activities, working together throughout the challenge to hit their steps goal. Many offices also arranged litter picks during their walk to positively benefit the environment along the way.
Multiple charities across Europe were chosen to benefit from the money that was raised during the challenge.
Middle East
Our teams in the Middle East and India were challenged to cover 10 million steps each in two consecutive weeks for our Global Relay Challenge.
Teams across the region pulled together to achieve this monumental goal, showing true spirit and commitment to complete their section of the challenge.
They raised vital funds for the Snehasadan Home for Homeless Children, helping them to continue providing children with shelter, health, essential needs and education.
APAC
Offices across the APAC region completed the final leg of our Global Relay Challenge, collectively walking just over 13 million steps!
Colleagues united to fundraise for Good Return, a charity dedicated to empowering individuals to enhance their earnings and break free from the shackles of poverty.
Some offices took part in scenic outdoor walks and some enjoyed a break from intense warm weather with indoor activities. It was great to see such enthusiasm from all corners of the region.
