You don't need prior technology recruitment experience. We're looking for someone with strong 360 recruitment experience, a proven business development mindset, and the drive to learn. We'll provide the support, tools, and training needed to develop your expertise within high-growth technology markets including Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Data, and AI.
Working from our modern office at One Station Hill, Reading, you'll have the opportunity to build your own market, work closely with US-based clients and candidates, and develop your career within a globally recognised business.

What You'll Be Doing 💼💻

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across contract and permanent hiring requirements within the US market.
Business Development: Generate new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking, referrals, client meetings, LinkedIn engagement, and market mapping.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, and decision-makers across a variety of sectors.
Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage high-quality professionals through headhunting, networking, referrals, and database searches.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct detailed interviews to assess experience, motivations, cultural fit, and suitability for client requirements.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strong talent pools across multiple markets and verticals.
Market Development: Create opportunities within new and existing accounts, identifying growth potential and expanding client relationships.
Desk Ownership: Take responsibility for developing your own market and building a long-term, sustainable business within Halian.
Technology Market Training: Learn and develop expertise within high-growth technology sectors including Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Data, and AI.
Candidate Care: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through regular engagement, market insights, interview preparation, and ongoing support.
Commercial Negotiation: Support the negotiation of rates, salaries, terms, and contracts to achieve positive outcomes for clients and candidates.
Collaboration: Working across multi-functions to achieve a common goal and support wider business objectives.
Performance Focus: Consistently achieve recruitment activity, placement, and revenue targets within a high-performance environment.

What We're Looking For 🔍👀

US Market Experience: Previous experience recruiting into the US market is essential.
360 Recruitment Experience: Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including business development, client management, candidate sourcing, and placements.
Business Development Mindset: Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities, win new business, and build relationships.
Recruitment Agency Background: Typically 1-3+ years of recruitment agency experience, although exceptional experience will always be considered.
Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of recruitment fundamentals, sales activity, and relationship management.
Relationship Builder: Confident developing credibility with clients and candidates alike.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
