About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Finance Administrator – Statutory Reporting to join our rapidly expanding Group Statutory Centre of Excellence. The person will be part of a team of 4, and work to support the Regional Finance teams with their external reporting requirements. The full-time role will report into the Bangalore based Group Finance Supervisor - Statutory Reporting (within the Group Finance team, operating in the UK and Bangalore). The role is based in our Bangalore office (minimum 2 days, with an option to work remotely for the other three days). We are looking for a committed individual to undertake a varied and challenging role. The role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate, with exposure to a wide range of reporting areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Statutory Reporting – Regional Accounts
  • Prepare and roll forward statutory financial statements for multiple regional and UK entities in line with local GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and Group Accounting Policies
  • Take ownership of statutory accounts preparation for assigned regional entities, from source data through to audit ready financial statements
  • Prepare statutory workings and disclosure notes from information provided by regional finance teams, resolving inconsistencies and queries
  • Draft and update statutory financial statements in Word, incorporating review comments from Regional Finance Controllers and external auditors
  • Prepare supporting statutory documentation for submission to local authorities such as UK Companies House
  • Ensure regional statutory accounts are accurate, compliant, audit ready, and delivered in line with agreed timelines
Group Accounts & Consolidation Support
  • Assist with the preparation of group consolidated financial statement workings and statutory disclosures
  • Support quarterly statutory disclosure pack roll forwards and assist with quarterly and annual group reporting deliverables
  • Contribute to the development and use of consolidation systems and processes (e.g. OneStream)
Audit, Ad-hoc Reporting & Wider Support
  • Prepare, coordinate, and track audit deliverables and supporting evidence for statutory accounts
  • Respond to auditor and internal review points, escalating technical or judgement-based matters where required
  • Suggest and implement improvements to statutory reporting templates, checklists, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to support Group Finance and wider statutory reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: An accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in statutory or group reporting
  • Skills: Hands on experience preparing statutory financial statements from source data, with a good understanding of core financial statement disclosures
  • IFRS & GAAP: Basic understanding of IFRS and relevant local GAAP (including FRS 102), applied in a statutory reporting context
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and Word skills (VLOOKUP’s and PIVOTs), with the ability to handle large data sets and perform reconciliations to a high standard
  • System Knowledge: Experience with consolidation or reporting systems (OneStream & Microsoft Dynamics 365/Navision) preferred
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well organized, detail focused, and proactive, able to work independently on regional statutory responsibilities, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively
  • Professionalism: An enthusiastic and committed individual with the desire to interact at all levels across a global organization
  • Quick Learner: Proven ability to pick up new areas of work quickly and ability to self-motivate
