ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Halian, you’ll be responsible for delivering full‑cycle recruitment solutions while driving client and candidate engagement across the IT and digital technology space. This is a true desk‑owning, entrepreneurial role, offering autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to build long‑term success within a growing market.
You’ll partner with clients to identify and deliver highly skilled IT professionals across contract, contract‑to‑hire, and permanent hiring models, while maintaining the highest service and compliance standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:
End‑to‑End Recruitment: Recruit, interview, evaluate, and place IT professionals on contract, contract‑to‑hire, and permanent assignments.
IT Talent Sourcing: Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract high‑quality candidates across IT disciplines including software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and digital technologies.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct in‑depth phone and virtual interviews to assess technical capability, cultural fit, and alignment to client requirements.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong IT talent pipeline through long‑term candidate relationships.
Candidate Care: Provide consistent communication, career guidance, and market insight throughout the recruitment process.
Contractor Engagement: Maintain regular contact with active contractors and recently placed candidates to ensure service quality and generate referrals.
Client Management: Manage new and existing accounts, including client visits, relationship management, and service delivery.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure 100% compliance with Halian and NES Fircroft quality standards, in‑country legislation (including Occupational Health & Safety), and client‑specific processes.
Business Development: Drive account development and new business generation through candidate referrals, client networks, and strategic outreach.
Strategic Partnerships: Build trusted, long‑term client relationships through consultative engagement and face‑to‑face meetings.
Desk Ownership: Maintain a balanced portfolio of job orders and qualified candidates while managing multiple, complex recruitment assignments.
Team Contribution: Support team development through knowledge‑sharing and on‑the‑job coaching where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:
Recruitment Experience: 4+ years’ agency recruitment experience, ideally within IT, technology, or digital markets.
IT Market Knowledge: Proven experience recruiting technical or IT‑focused roles.
Strong Communicator: Confident, engaging, and professional in both candidate and client interactions.
Highly Organized: Able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Results‑Driven Mindset: Commercially aware, target‑focused, and motivated by success.
Multi‑Tasking Ability: Comfortable managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
