NES Fircroft is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our North Asia Finance team in Kuala Lumpur, supporting core accounting functions across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a global organisation and play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting intercompany transactions, and contributing to month-end financial processes within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage Intercompany Transactions – Handle intercompany fund transfers, including invoice verification, allocation, and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support Reconciliation & Settlement Activities – Assist in intercompany reconciliations and settlements, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved efficiently.
  • Perform Accounting Entries – Prepare and post journal entries, including reclassification adjustments, in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist with Month-End Close – Support month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Maintain Financial Records – Ensure all financial data, documentation, and records are accurate, organised, and compliant with company requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders – Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to support finance operations and resolve queries effectively.
  • Support Finance Projects & Ad Hoc Tasks – Contribute to ongoing finance initiatives and assist with additional tasks as required by the team.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Basic knowledge of general ledger and intercompany accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Navision is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work in a structured, efficient manner
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
