Join us as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and take full ownership of your desk in a high‑growth sector — shaping your own success while helping to build the future of our Toronto business. 

This is a full‑cycle 360° Senior Recruitment Consultant position focused on the Mining, Construction & Infrastructure, Power & Renewables, and O&G/Energy sectors. You’ll be at the forefront of driving new business, managing key client relationships, and delivering permanent recruitment solutions to some of the most influential players in the Canadian market.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Desk Development: Building and developing your own desk in high‑demand technical markets. 

• Business Development: Identifying and winning new clients through proactive outreach. 

• Recruitment Delivery: Recruiting, interviewing, and placing skilled technical professionals in permanent roles. 

• Full‑Cycle Management: Running the entire recruitment process from sourcing → screening → interviewing → offer → onboarding. 

• Client Engagement: Conducting face‑to‑face and virtual client meetings to build long‑term partnerships. 

• Candidate Pipeline: Managing and growing a high‑quality pipeline across your chosen market. 

• Communication & Service: Maintaining strong communication and service levels with candidates and clients. 

• Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with NES Fircroft processes and local legislation. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 5+ years of experience in an agency recruitment environment (mandatory). 

• Proven track record of successful business development and growing client portfolios. 

• Confident communicator able to operate credibly with senior stakeholders. 

• Experience in Mining, Energy, Power, O&G, Construction, or related technical recruiting (preferred). 

• A self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable building a desk from scratch. 

• Strong organisation skills; able to prioritise, multitask, and deliver under pressure. 

• Ambitious, target‑driven, and motivated by financial and career advancement. 

• Team mindset with the desire to contribute to long‑term Toronto office growth.
