NES Fircroft Australia is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney team, leading and growing a desk that connects top technical talent with the organisations shaping Australia’s energy future.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and Manage Client Relationships - Partner with utilities, EPC contractors, developers, and consultancies delivering workforce solutions across power generation, transmission & distribution, solar, wind, BESS, and emerging clean energy technologies.
• Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment - Manage end-to-end recruitment — sourcing, interviewing, placing, and managing high-calibre candidates across engineering, project delivery, operations, and commercial roles.
• Drive Business Growth - Expand your portfolio by identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with key clients across Australia’s growing energy transition and infrastructure markets.
• Provide Market Insight - Act as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates, offering insights on talent trends, workforce planning, and the evolving energy landscape in Australia.
• Collaborate with a Global Team - Work closely with colleagues across Australia and the wider APAC region, sharing knowledge and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions.

What We’re Looking For: 

• 3+ years’ experience in agency recruitment, ideally within power, renewables, infrastructure, or energy sectors
• Strong commercial mindset with experience building and managing a recruitment desk
• Excellent client development and candidate relationship skills
• A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Knowledge of the Australian energy market is beneficial, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued
