Are you a senior business development leader with a strong track record in renewable energy or technical workforce solutions across North Asia?

NES Fircroft is seeking a Regional Business Development Director to lead our growth strategy across North Asia, based in Tokyo/Taipei/Shanghai/Seoul. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for expanding our presence across key markets including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan & Greater China, with a focus on the rapidly evolving energy transition landscape.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global leader in technical workforce solutions and play a pivotal role in shaping regional strategy, driving major client partnerships, and supporting the delivery of large-scale renewable and energy infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead Regional Growth Strategy – Define and execute NES Fircroft’s business development strategy across North Asia, identifying high-value opportunities within renewable energy and broader energy transition sectors.
  • Drive Key Client Engagement – Develop and manage senior-level relationships with strategic clients, including developers, EPCs, operators, and multinational energy companies, positioning NES Fircroft as a trusted workforce solutions partner.
  • Win and Deliver Major Accounts – Lead complex, high-value business development initiatives, securing large-scale contracts and framework agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Market Leadership & Intelligence – Act as a subject matter expert on North Asia’s energy and workforce landscape, providing strategic insights on market trends, talent availability, and competitive positioning.
  • Regional Collaboration – Work closely with country leaders and delivery teams across APAC and globally to ensure alignment on strategy, seamless service delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Build & Mentor High-Performing Teams – Support the development of regional BD capability, mentoring team members and fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 10+ years’ experience in business development, sales leadership, or account management within renewable energy, engineering services, or technical workforce solutions
  • Strong understanding of the North Asia energy market, including renewables (solar, wind, offshore wind, hydrogen) and energy transition sectors
  • Proven track record of securing and managing large, strategic accounts across multiple countries
  • Experience operating at a regional or global level, with strong commercial and strategic acumen
  • Established network within the energy or infrastructure sectors in North Asia
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level
  • Fluency in English required; additional regional language skills (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean) highly advantageous
