Recruitment Consultant


Sector Knowledge


· Aware of commodity or product produced and sold in sector of focus

· Clearly understands Key Operating and Service Companies in Sector

· Aware and understands NES GT Customers in sector (Live Business)

· Understands the name and type of key projects of clients

· Demonstrates awareness project developments before widely known

· Identifies potential new clients and contacts not previously supported

· Fully understands project lifecycles

· Strong understanding and use of Industry Terminology/Acronyms (TLP, FPSO, LPDE Plant etc.)


Sourcing Candidates


· Full utilization of Bullhorn for searching

· Understands the various external databases available and utilizes to full potential

· Undertake face to face candidate meetings at all possible opportunities

· Regular calls and contact with current contractor workforce / recently placed candidates to ensure quality service is maintained and to seek candidate referrals

· Ensures all live jobs are posted on available tools and nesglobaltalent.com as essential

· Can identify which clients we should be headhunting from and can undertake such calls appropriately

· Can sell candidates that they register to clients on a speculative basis to secure further interviews

· Makes an impact to candidate database in discipline - new candidates added regularly to Bullhorn

· Organises networking event or similar online group to participate in Industry discussion

· Attends Industry events to meet passive candidates


Recruitment Process


· Checks formatted CV and ensure of high standard for submission

· Delivers a professional and high standard write up for e-mail submission to client

· Always secures referenced before proposing candidates to clients

· Qualifies candidates in full and gains commitment on key items such as rate, salary, benefits and desired locations

· Logs all activity on Bullhorn

· On placement, ensures 100% compliance with quality standards as dictated by NES Global Talent including company quality processes, in country legislation (including Occupational Health & Safety), and client specific process requirements

· Markets candidates rather than just sourcing on open requisitions only


Contractor Management


· Ensures that live contractors in discipline are in network and strong relationship score (includes inherited as well as placed)

· Responds to contractor/candidate queries promptly and efficiently

· Visits with contractors face to face (if possible in office location)

· Attends site visits with Senior Team Member

· Confidently deals with any high level issues relating to payment and support interfacing with various departments (payroll, Finance, Immigration etc.)


Business Development


· Interacts regularly with contractors/candidate on Projects to identify client leads

· Understands NES GT Service Offerings with knowledge of case studies regionally and globally

· Makes effective calls to cold and hot client contacts to generate opportunities and meetings

· Supports Bids and Tenders input into bidding documents

· Secures names and meetings with Managers outside core discipline to support team and overall workflow

· Understands where their discipline falls within Project Lifecycle and attacks opportunities in that area for quicker impact

· Can put together a call list of potential clients and structure business development calls to build rapport and sell the value proposition of NES Global Talent

· Seeks a tendering opportunity each quarter for Manager or Director to support and guide

· Participates in Client Presentations


Account Management (if applicable)


· Holds Line Manager Contact after placing with contact

· Understands commercials and mark up's with clients they are supporting

· Can deal with issues and negative feedback as it arises, escalating to line manager where appropriate

· Attends Supplier Meetings for larger accounts

· Participates in conversations with clients on cost and process improvements

· Provides regular reports and updates to clients

· Holds several relationships with growth clients to develop


Team Management (if applicable)


· Leads from the front. Placements, Behaviours, Time Managements and support of initiatives

· Use experience and knowledge to Coach and mentor team members
