Overview

The prime responsibility of the role is to assist the Corporate Development Manager with conducting research on potential acquisition targets and maintaining a global database of Corporate Development activity and discussions.

This is a diverse role that combines proactive market research, market mapping, lead generation projects and analytical tasks, to help generate qualified leads. This will then fuel the Group Corporate Development activity in identifying targets and making initial contact for further discussions.


The roles & responsibilities include:


  • Combining multiple client and contact data points and sources, with insightful market information to create intelligent prospect lists. Identifying key personnel such as decision makers, hiring managers and influencers with contact details to be obtained for all associates.
  • Utilising various resources, datasets, databases, reports, publications, and web content to create lists and project map according to business requirements.
  • Researching into industries, clients, projects, and competition, which is prepared to support diversification and intelligent sales strategy and planning.
  • Collaborating with Project Development Teams and provide various documentation and meeting frameworks to help develop sales and recruitment on key Global Projects, in diversified sectors.
  • Developing lead generation tools, initiatives and campaigns which output high quality leads with new companies and contacts.
  • Analysing, evaluating and producing written content on prospective clients or sectors, which will contribute towards monthly/quarterly reports and newsletters.


Skillset required for the role.


  • Team player who can also take initiative and work in an autonomous fashion.
  • Results and output driven.
  • Comfortable with developing and managing relationships internationally.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable to work under pressure, demonstrating persistence, tenacity, and resilience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent written skills and able formulate and analyse industry trends for reporting purposes.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrating ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Process and Task oriented.
