What You’ll Be Doing:
- Recruitment Leadership – Manage full-cycle recruitment across Canada’s Mining and Oil & Gas sectors, ensuring top-tier candidate delivery and contractor care.
- Client Relationship Building – Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, project teams, and procurement to position NES Fircroft as the preferred staffing provider.
- Business Development & Market Expansion – Identify new leads, pursue contract staffing opportunities, and expand existing client relationships by staying ahead of industry trends and capital projects.
- Workforce Solutions Delivery – Provide tailored staffing strategies that address remote mobilization, contractor management, and skilled trades shortages.
- Team Mentorship & Performance Management – Coach and support consultants, foster a high-performance culture, and lead by example through personal billing success.
- Strategic Planning & KPI Management – Set clear expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and contribute to desk planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Operational Excellence – Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless contractor onboarding, compliance, and service delivery.
- Client Satisfaction & Compliance – Monitor contractor performance, resolve service issues proactively, and stay informed of provincial labour laws and employment regulations.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within Canada’s Mining or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Proven track record in business development and client portfolio growth.
- Strong understanding of Canada’s natural resources industry, labour challenges, and project cycles.
- Experience mentoring or managing recruitment teams.
- Target-driven mindset with a sense of urgency and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with field-based contractors and remote project demands.
