Contractor Liaison

NES Global Talent is seeking a Contractor Liaison Specialist to join our Houston office. In this role, you’ll be the principal contact for our contractors, ensuring their assignments run smoothly from onboarding through completion. You’ll play a critical role in managing contractor queries, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance — all while building trusted relationships that drive retention and long-term success.

What You’ll Be Doing 🚀

Contractor Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, addressing queries from start to finish.
• Build strong, lasting relationships to promote contractor satisfaction and retention.
• Manage onboarding, assignment extensions, and offboarding while maintaining accurate data.
• Resolve contractor issues quickly and professionally, escalating to senior management when necessary.
• Track timesheets, assignment dates, and client-specific requirements to ensure smooth operations.
• Draft and review schedules of rates with Sales for accuracy before client submission.
• Identify opportunities to improve contractor experience and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.

Contract & Compliance:

• Review contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal systems.
• Partner with Operations and Assignment Support teams to align contract terms with company standards.
• Monitor adherence to policies and escalate any breaches to leadership.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Work closely with Sales, Onboarding, Payroll, and Benefits to deliver consistent contractor support.
• Interface regularly with Houston management and escalate key operational matters as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Payroll, Invoicing, Credit Control) to prevent discrepancies.
• Support onboarding when assignments are amended or extended, ensuring timely contractor updates.

Sales Focus:

• Strengthen client relationships through consistent communication and operational support.
• Identify opportunities for contractor transitions within client accounts.
• Generate leads and share with Business Development Managers by leveraging strong relationships.
• Contribute to account growth by providing excellent service to both clients and contractors.

What We’re Looking For 👀

• Experience: 5+ years in Customer Service, Compliance, or Contractor Liaison roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Bullhorn, FieldGlass, DocuSign, OTE, or similar platforms preferred.
• Organization: Highly organized, methodical, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Natural problem solver with the initiative to influence positive outcomes.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with confident presentation abilities.
• Team Player: Collaborative but comfortable working independently when needed.
• Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Policy Awareness: Commitment to compliance, with a willingness to escalate concerns appropriately.
• Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions.
