What you'll be doing:

  • Identifying clients within target sectors and locations locally in the North East within the engineering sectors including oil & gas, energy transition, chemicals, power and renewables
  • Building relationships and qualifying opportunities for NES Fircroft, engaging regional teams for sales pitches, and tender responses. 
  • Driving correct BD behaviors, training recruitment teams as required to enhance lead generation. 
  • Leading strategic BD activities and reporting on market developments and opportunities to extend our brand. 
  • Assisting with BD initiatives into new clients for NES Fircroft. 
  • Supporting the recruitment teams to transition relationships into a successful service delivery / account management mode of operation. 

 You'll be a great fit if:

  • You have 5 years + experience within business development within sales and recruitment
  • You have engineering sector experience in recruitment or within industry
  • You are based within  the Teeside area and willing to travel proactively to visit clients
  • You have a solid track record of business development and are of a tenacious and consultative nature with a keen eye for detail and process. 
  • You can work collaboratively with each operation to fully understand each department’s needs
  • You take ownership for your own workload and outputs
  • Ability to communicate technically at a high level to company executives
