Join NES Fircroft as an Accounts Assistant - Bank Reconciliation!

We are excited to offer a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant (Bank Reconciliation) to join our Shared Service Centre based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This full-time role reports to the Shared Service Team Lead and plays a key part in supporting our regional finance operations through bank reconciliation, cash balance reporting, and AR/AP support.
This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional who is eager to grow within a dynamic, global organisation and gain exposure to regional banking, treasury, and multi-entity accounting processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliation statements, ensuring alignment across the cash book, bank statements, and General Ledger.
  • Prepare daily cash balance reports to support Treasury operations.
  • Monitor customer collections and ensure timely posting into the ERP system according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Track vendor and payroll payables and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely posting in line with SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate and proper filing of accounting records.
  • Support activities related to banking facilities and treasury processes.
  • Prepare payment and treasury-related documentation as required.
  • Assist in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks when needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Lead or other superiors.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting—preferably with exposure to Treasury and bank reconciliation.
  • Experience with Navision ERP is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical, proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to liaise with auditors, bankers, and accountants confidently.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia is also useful).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Resourceful, results-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with exposure to process improvement, project work, or change management.
  • Commitment to internal control compliance and high professional standards.
