Working in Dubai

The team loves to have fun in and out of the office. From their monthly birthday celebrations and office activities like yoga to celebrating promotions with long lunches, hosting high tea, and participating in the Annual sports day.

The area is full of cafes and restaurants, with a wide variety of cuisines from around the world. So, whether you’re looking to explore the local cuisine or your favourites from home, you’re bound to find tasty food. Just outside the NES office, there are amazing places to eat such as Mexican Taqado, Lebanese restaurant Kaak and Qwerty restaurant which has great continental options.

Dubai is known for the biggest and most luxurious malls offering the best of shopping. At the Dubai Mall, which is the 2nd biggest mall, you can shop from 1200+ stores. Malls also offer an array of entertainment in the forms of cinemas, an indoor ice-skating rink in Dubai Mall, Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates, an Indoor roller coaster in Dubai Hills Mall, and Sky Zone in Ibn Battuta Mall to name a few.

Dubai is very well known for its theme parks and activities for families. There is the biggest water park in the world which offers amazing slides for various age groups. There are great theme parks nearby, such as IMG World of Adventures or Motiongate. If you are looking for something a little different, there is the Miracle Gardens, The Museum of the Future, Virtual Reality and The Dubai Eye.

We have some fabulous places that put Dubai on the map notably Palm Jumeirah which is a tree-shaped man-made island that is known for glitzy 5* hotels, posh apartment towers, villas with private beaches, and Michelin-star restaurants.

Another recent addition is the Ain Dubai, the world’s biggest and tallest Ferris wheel located on Bluewater’s Island that offers a spectacular view of Dubai.

We also have many skyscrapers including Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Don’t forget the beautiful beaches and waterparks that Dubai presents.

The nightlife here is amazing—there are so many options for you to choose from when you want to go out with friends or colleagues after work. There are some cool bars around our area such as Barasti, Pier 7 bars, Belgian Beer Café, and Observatory Bar & Grill for a quick Pint and some finger food. From ladies’ nights to happy hours, every bar has a range of offers on local discount apps such as Zomato or Entertainer.

Coffee and tea are deeply rooted in the country’s culture and serve as a symbol of hospitality.  There’s an amazing range to choose from, to suit every pallet.  Some of our favourites are Arabica, which serves a trendy blend of Japanese coffee, and Alchemy which supports coffee farmers across the Globe.  Pretty much every corner is home to a coffee house. You don’t even have to leave the building, there’s a Costa Coffee in the office lobby for that morning pick-up!
