Our tight-knit team works in Commercial / Civil Construction (Permanent), Commercial / Civil Infrastructure (Contract), Renewable Energy and Power (both Contract and Permanent) - there's plenty of opportunities to grow your career at our Melbourne office. You'll be working as part of a wider Australian and global office network on pioneering engineering projects.
The team loves to have fun in and out of the office. We organise breakfasts and coffee meetings with the team to step away from our desks - and to not talk about work! As part of the global NES Fircroft group, you'll also be in with a chance to attend out coveted annual awards - a glitzy event held at an international location. We have several categories calling for colleagues to nominate their peers for recognition.
Our central location means there are many places to choose from. A favourite of the team includes Hopscotch Melbourne, where we can have a few drinks, eat and watch sports. There's a plethora of coffee shops near the office, but Bond Store Café is a particular team favourite.
We are within walking distance to Crown Casino, Melbourne Aquarium and the National Gallery of Victoria - but there is plenty more to see and do across the city! Other close-by attractions include the Eureka Skydeck (offering panormanic views of the city), several arts centres and Melbourne River Cruises
There are so many place to choose from when shopping, but the most popular areas/malls in the city are Southgate Melbourne and DFO South Wharf - just over a kilometre away from the office and round about a 15 minute walk. Our Melbourne office is situated along the Yarra River, an extremely lively area at night, filled with restaurants and bars.
Our modern office is in the heart of Melbourne CBD, known for plenty of the city's famous spots.
It's easy to get around Melbourne. Several tram stations are located near the office; a nice scenic walk across the bridge overlooks Yarra River to Flinders Station or the trams on Queen's Bridge Street.
