In our vibrant Seoul office, you’ll be amongst talented colleagues working across a complete array of industries which can provide excellent learning and development opportunities. Alongside the NES Fircroft team, the Seoul office is also home to our North Asia Redbock team, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the exciting world of Life Sciences consulting services.
Colleagues in Seoul love to take part in team-building activities and arrange dinners to get to know each other outside of the work environment and welcome new joiners. Their inter-office exchange programme is a great way to meet the wider team too, with the opportunity to spend a few weeks in a different NES Fircroft office, immersing in another culture, location and team environment.
In Jongno, where our office is situated, you can find all kinds of cuisines and places to eat, from traditional Korean food to international restaurants serving Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, French and American dishes - and more! There is an abundance of tasty food choices, and the options are reasonably priced – what’s not to like!
Our office’s central location provides great access to a variety of shopping opportunities, with the Lotte department store, Lotte Avenuel, Young Plaza and Shinsegae department store just a short distance away. A 5-minute walk from there will take you to the well-known shopping district of Myeongdong, famous for its themed cafes and affordable skincare and beauty shops.
The Joseon-era Royal Palace Gyeongbokgung and the former presidential residence, the Blue House, can be found in Jongno, only a short distance from our office. The Buddhist Jogyesa Temple, located near to the office, is a must-visit destination all year round, but especially in May on Buddha’s Birthday celebration when the pavilions are beautifully decorated with colourful lanterns.
After work, the go-to place for many working professionals is the Pojangmacha (or street stall) in Insadong and Myeongdong, which offers a plethora of local Korean dishes and snacks. It’s a popular choice for locals who want to enjoy great food with friends whilst relaxing with a beer or more traditional alcohol beverages, like soju and makgeolli.
Jongno and the neighbouring Myeongdong are famous for their trendy coffee culture, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to discover small independent coffee shops and tea houses in the nearby area, which also often host special events. Additionally, you’ll find lots of global coffee shops in close proximity to our office, such as Starbucks, A Twosome Place, and Venti, if that's more your thing.
Our office is in the central district of Jongno, the historic centre of Seoul. Jongno's combination of office buildings and tourist attractions make it a vibrant area that's full of life, and a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike. Our office's convenient location means you won't be short of places to visit, things to do or people to meet!
Being in the central district, the area around our office is very well connected with buses and trains which most of our team use for their daily commute.
The high density of traffic in the surrounding area mean bicycles and scooters are less popular for commuting, however both can be rented easily if required. If you choose to drive into the office, our building has a car park which you can use.

What I love the most about our office is its location in Jongno District, which is well-known by locals and international visitors for its historical and cultural significance. The contrast between the ancient and new buildings is truly fascinating. Every day the way from and to the office feels like walking through a museum without walls.
