As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll be primarily responsible for prospecting both new candidates and clients within an assigned sector through strategic recruiting and business development activities. This entrepreneurial role offers full operational responsibility for your desk and clients, making it perfect for someone with a proven track record in full-cycle recruiting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Recruiting Top Talent: Identify, interview, and place highly skilled technical professionals on a contract or contract-to-hire basis.
  • Generating New Business: Develop new business through leads and referrals from candidates and clients.
  • Creative Sourcing: Use innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies to expand your talent pool and attract qualified candidates.
  • Building Relationships: Conduct thorough interviews to understand candidates' qualifications and job requirements and maintain long-term relationships with them.
  • Providing Career Guidance: Offer consistent communication and career advice to candidates.
  • Ensuring Quality Service: Check in with current contractors and recently placed candidates to ensure satisfaction and seek referrals.
  • Account Management: Manage new and existing client accounts, including client visits.
  • Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with NES Fircroft's quality standards, local legislation, and client-specific requirements.
  • Strategic Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic client relationships through phone and face-to-face meetings.
  • Balancing Opportunities: Maintain a balance of job orders and qualified candidates, managing multiple complex selling opportunities.
  • Team Training: Assist with on-the-job training for team members, focusing on time management and task allocation.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of recruitment experience (agency with contract focus required).
  • Required Experience: Established relationships with technical candidates in local markets, background in Power and/or Renewables, and knowledge of major Utilities players (IOUs and Municipalities).
  • Outgoing Personality: A people person with a talent for building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Methodical and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ambitious and Driven: Hungry to be successful and target oriented.
  • Team Player: Thrive in a team environment but also capable of working independently.
