What You’ll Be Doing 💼💻:
- Ledger Management: Keeping our key customer accounts organized and ensuring those high-value ledgers run smoothly.
- Debt Recovery: Proactively chasing overdue payments by phone, email, and other means to ensure timely collections.
- Relationship Builder: Becoming best buds with our customers through regular chats and heck-ins, keeping those connections strong.
- Financial GPS: Guiding the cash receipting team on payments like a seasoned navigator, ensuring everything aligns with customer remittances.
- Query Resolution: Collaborating with sales and invoicing teams to resolve outstanding queries efficiently.
- Account Setup: Managing the opening of new accounts to ensure everything runs smoothly from the start.
- Debtor Days Reducer: Leading the charge on reducing debtor days and bringing those overdue receivables back on track.
- Shared Service Connector: Staying tight with our Shared Service Centre to maintain strong relationships and keep the good vibes going.
- Reporting: Preparing debt management reports and presenting them in weekly meetings with senior finance and operations managers.
What We’re Looking For 🔍👀:
- Experience: You've got 10+ years of hands-on experience in Credit Control, proving you know your way around the numbers and the nuances.
- Confident Communicator: You exude professionalism and can confidently engage with senior leaders across the organization.
- Client Relationship Pro: You excel at building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring everyone feels valued and heard.
- Team Player: You work seamlessly with your team, contributing to a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Navision is a plus, showing you’re comfortable with essential tools and software.
- Shared Services Experience: Bonus points if you have experience in a shared services function—your background will help you hit the ground running!
