Internal Audit Analyst
A new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Internal Audit Analyst to join the Group Internal Audit team on a permanent basis at our shared service Centre in Bangalore, India. The Internal Audit team currently consists of three Internal Auditors and 1 Assistant Manager based in Bangalore, India. The Analyst role will ultimately report into the Assistant Internal Audit Manager, with a day-to-day reporting line into one of the team’s three Internal Auditors. The Internal Audit team reports to the Head of Internal Audit and Assurance, based in Manchester, UK. The main part of the role will be to carry out internal testing, assisting the function in providing assurance to the business in accordance with the IA 12-month plan, and participate in any engagements requested by the Audit Committee as necessary.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Internal Audit Analyst to join our Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will assist in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the field of internal auditing.
Key Responsibilities
• Will to learn and perform risk-based audits across various departments and functions within the organization to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identifying deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.
• Performing thorough testing of financial and operational processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability of information.
• Collaborating with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.
• Monitoring and tracking the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Providing support to colleagues within the Internal Audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.
• Participating in special projects, investigations, or initiatives as assigned by management.Assist the line manager and the Head of Internal Audit & Assurance in completion of team objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Pursuing master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA) preferred
• Internal Audit experience preferred

• Basic understanding of auditing principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
