What you’ll be doing
- End-to-end contractor support: Deliver professional and efficient support throughout the entire lifecycle of contractor placements, from onboarding to off-boarding.
- Build relationships: Network and cultivate strong connections with candidates, ensuring clear and effective communication during onboarding and throughout their assignments.
- Issue management: Address and resolve contractor issues while escalating key concerns to senior management as necessary, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the candidate experience and implement valuable solutions.
- Policy awareness: Stay up to date with business policies and procedures, reporting breaches or concerns to senior management.
- Collaborative communication: Work closely with other support teams, including Sales, Payroll, and Benefits, to maintain seamless communication with contractors.
- Senior management interface: Collaborate with the VP for Americas and other senior leaders, escalating critical matters to the appropriate Manager or Operations Director.
- Regional support: Partner with regional Assignment Support teams to ensure timely and effective contractor onboarding.
What we’re looking for
- Customer service background: 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or Contractor Liaison role.
- Organizational skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a knack for prioritizing effectively.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the Oil & Gas sector, particularly Shale or Onshore operations.
- Personality: Outgoing and confident, with proven success in customer service or candidate management.
- Team player: A self-starter who can work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an articulate and professional presentation style.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Policy compliance: A keen awareness of policies and procedures, with a willingness to escalate breaches when necessary.
- Proactive mindset: Ability to seek out and leverage information to make informed decisions.
