Commercial & Legal Officer – APAC

• Risk management and advisory: Assess and present risk analyses to enable informed decision-making. Provide sound advice to mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with NES Fircroft’s commercial risk principles.
• Contract management: Draft, review, and maintain all Indonesian client and contractor contracts in alignment with NES templates and procedures. Offer training to stakeholders on contract documentation use and management.
• Regional commercial support: Handle regional commercial matters, escalating tasks appropriately within the APAC region. Liaise with insurance brokers and external counsel for compliance and litigation activities.
• Corporate and legal expertise: Provide regional legal advice on corporate and licensing matters. Research and advise on labor and employment law in foreign jurisdictions. Support Indonesia offices with personnel engagement and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Stakeholder engagement: Produce high-quality documentation that maintains the integrity and credibility of the Legal team. Share knowledge to upskill team members and drive organizational improvements.

• Analytical problem solver: Demonstrated expertise in contract law with strong analytical skills. Proven ability to assess commercial liability and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Commercially savvy: Adept at managing corporate negotiations, balancing risk with commercial interests, and understanding compliance in high-pressure environments.
• Team player with emotional intelligence: Skilled at building relationships, anticipating stakeholder reactions, and adapting recommendations accordingly.
