The Business Development Manager role focuses on developing and implementing a strategic business development plan for the Teesside and East Yorkshire region. The primary goal is to expand our contract and managed solutions offerings within the engineering sector. This position is responsible for building strong relationships with client contacts and key contractors to identify opportunities and secure new business, directly contributing to revenue growth. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with recruitment managers to ensure aligned service delivery, coordinating marketing efforts, and managing event planning and execution.
What You’ll Be Doing 💼💻:
- Uncovering Opportunities: Dive deep into the engineering market to identify and connect with potential clients, opening doors to new possibilities.
- Building Lasting Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships, qualifying leads and collaborating with regional teams to craft impactful sales proposals and tender responses.

What We’re Looking For 🔍👀:
- Recruitment Expertise: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in 360 recruitment, account management, or business development. Prior exposure to the engineering sector is a big plus!
- Commercial Expertise: Skilled in handling bids, tenders, proposals, and pricing with a sharp eye for detail and strong commercial instincts.
