About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a newly created Financial Planning and Analysis team. Reporting into the Head of FP&A, the candidate will be responsible for supporting in the management of all reporting and messaging around key business processes including the Group budget and Group forecast. The role will require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills alongside strong financial modelling ability and experience of working in a large global organization.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Support the development of a best-in-class FP&A function within a growing and fast paced global organization
• Support the running of the Group budget and forecast processes globally, working across the finance function to ensure forecasts are delivered to agreed timelines
• Assist with the production of the Group budget and Group forecast presentation packs
• Regular performance reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring quality information is provided in a timely manner
• Analyzing monthly performance including identifying, investigating, and communicating key trends or items of concern
• Drive continuous improvement in key business processes and systems to support the FP&A agenda. In particular working closely with the systems development team to continue to automate reporting as much as possible and ensure the system adapts to the changing needs of the business
• Assisting in analyzing the impact of potential acquisition targets on future forecasts
• Bespoke stakeholder reporting
• Work collaboratively with the Group Finance, Treasury and Accounting Systems teams to
achieve cross departmental goals
Key attributes:
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Experience working in a large global organization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyze large data sets and summarize key findings concisely
• Commercial awareness and understanding of key business drivers
• Prior experience working in FP&A environment desirable
