Working in Oman

Our team often gets togerther for a variety of social events organised by our Belong group. These events range from exciting activities like go-karting and boat trips to more relaxed team outings for meals at local restaurants. Our office also features a break-out room equipped with PlayStation, dartboard, and foosball table, where we often organise fun darts tournaments.

Oman is known for its diverse culinary scene, and our team takes full advantage of it. You'll find an array of restaurants offering various cuisines, including Arabic specialties. Local delicacies such as grilled meat, bread, hummus, rice, and salad are popular choices. When our team goes out, they frequent establishments like Dolphin Bar, known for its wine Wednesdays, as well as Woodlands (Indian), Baban (Asian), Dukes Bar (traditional pub food), Zale (Asian fusion), and Char (steak).

Within a 10-minute drive from our office, you'll find 8-10 malls with a wide range of retail options. These malls feature both international and local brands, including M&S, H&M, Zara, Body Shop, Levi's, Nike, and Adidas. For a more traditional shopping experience, you can explore the famous Mutrah Souk, where you'll find a variety of goods.

Oman is a country rich in culture and natural beauty. In the vicinity of our office, you can discover stunning beaches and hotels for staycations, various parks, a scenic marina, and Al Mouj, offering shopping and dining experiences. The Mutrah area is also worth visiting, with its vibrant souk, restaurants, and even a palace you can explore. For nature enthusiasts, a trip to Daymaniyat Island is highly recommended, offering opportunities for snorkeling, encountering turtles, dolphins, and more.

Muscat offers a diverse nightlife scene, catering to different preferences. You'll find a wide array of restaurants and bars, some serving alcohol, while others are dry establishments. Muscat's hotels often host themed buffet nights, showcasing Italian, Mexican, Asian cuisines, and more, along with specialty dishes. Many bars also feature weekend entertainment, and brunches at restaurants and hotels provide a lively and enjoyable experience. Coffee shops and shisha lounges are plentiful, with most establishments open until 10 or 11 pm, ensuring there's always something to do at night.

Within a few minutes' walk from our office, you'll find various restaurants, including a Kaldi coffee shop located right below our office. It's a convenient spot for a quick caffeine fix or a cozy place to work.
